MEET DR. VOLLBERG

Carlton M. Vollberg, DO, physician and owner of Center for Comprehensive Medicine received his Doctor of Osteopathy from Kansas City University of Medicine and Bio-Science in 1992. Dr. Vollberg then completed his internship at the University of Alabama in 1993 and competed his Internal Medicine residency at the University of South Alabama in 1996.

Dr. Vollberg founded Center for Comprehensive Medicine in November or 2006 where he specializes in Internal Medicine with a special interest in Hormone Replacement Therapy, Nutrition and Wellness, and Cosmetics.  He has lectured frequently on topics of Nutrition and Wellness, and has also been published in The Southern Medical Journal in 1997 for “Vibrio vulnificus Infection:  An Important Cause of Septicemia in Patients With Cirrhosis”.

Dr. Vollberg is an active husband and father to three adult children.  He enjoys hiking, trail running, triathlons, and camping.  He has competed in the Ironman Competition along with several marathons and ultra-distance trail races.  Dr. Vollberg is very active in his church, and believes that good health is a treasured gift from God.
